width=310Grateful grannies thank Celine Dion

On 10 December 2009 some 300 grannies were treated to a special Christmas party at Diepkloof Hall - courtesy of Celine Dion.

These grannies care for orphans ... vulnerable children ... and their own grandchildren who have been orphaned by their parents’ HIV/Aids-related deaths.

So it was a special day for them - to be taken care of for once. There was music as well as a lunch and each granny was presented with a gift.

The grannies were enormously grateful to Celine Dion for a day they’ll never forget!
